Kate Mullen: Genuine, real and all round beautiful person.

I've had the privilege of knowing artist Kate Mullen since her early teenage years. I've witnessed her transformation from those formative years into the accomplished, sincere, warm, and genuine woman she is today. Although her travels have often taken her across the country and around the world, I always look forward to her return so we can catch up and chat about her adventures and my own journey. Therefore, I was thrilled when I had the chance to produce a short interview about her recent journey and the completion of her PhD.

We spent a morning discussing her evolution in practice, the relationships she has built with numerous indigenous leaders and groups, and her profound connection and respect for nature. Meanwhile, she has also recently become a mother to the beautiful Yuri. Kate has embraced all these significant life achievements with grace and remains grounded, open, and honest. Our conversation flowed freely and the morning flew past.

It was an interview close to my heart and I was grateful to be able to sit with her and reflect on her incredible journey.
