Western Australian artist Pamela Gaunt is a familiar figure among Perth's creative community. In addition to her established career as an artist, she has also taught at Curtin University in the School of Design, where she has instructed many contemporary artists and creatives who are now practicing in Perth and internationally.

Gaunt has showcased her work both across the country and around the world. Her practice emphasizes the material qualities of her mediums, aiming to craft a sensory experience. Beginning with textiles and transitioning to glass and perspex, Gaunt explores how texture, translucency, and illumination all play a role in achieving this sensory experience.

Her journey has occasionally taken her into the world of public art, which presents its own challenges but has resulted in positive experiences through collaboration with other creatives in the industry, culminating in the creation of some remarkable pieces.
